Green Pea Hummus - (vegan & oil free)
When we were traveling in Mexico I ordered a pizza and the base was green pea hummus. Since then I've been hooked and needed to start making my own! This hummus is light, bright, and fluffy! A great way to sneak in some greens.
Ingredients:
✘ 1.5 cups cooked chickpeas
✘ 1 cup cooked green peas
✘ 2 cloves garlic
✘ 2 tbsp tahini
✘ juice of half a large lemon
✘ small handful of cilantro
✘1/2 tsp cumin
✘ 1 tsp salt & 1/2 tsp pepper
✘ 4-5 tbsp of water (to help blend)
Instructions:
1. Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
2. Garnish with extra cilantro and cooked peas!
Enjoy!

Fantastic recipe! This is my new favourite hummus! Very easy to make and I love that it doesn’t require any oil. I like to eat this with Mary’s crackers, as a spread on sandwiches, and with broccoli or carrot sticks. So excited to pass on this recipe.

Yumm! This looks fabulous and cannot wait to try it out. I’m a hummus addict but have ow there’s always so much oil put in it! I adore edamame humus (have you tried it?), so I look forward to making this!
